# Syteca 7.15

> Release notes for Syteca version 7.15 — macOS Hidden Client, Terminal Server (Limited Sessions) for Linux, recording only on alert/USB trigger.

## 7.15 (Build 7.15.194)

### New features

* **Windows Clients — record only on alert/USB trigger.** The new **Record user activity only on alert or USB monitoring rule triggering** feature is now available, allowing user activity recording to be targeted to only before and after alert/USB events. Useful for efficient resource use and for balancing security & compliance with privacy concerns. Visible in the Client / Client group settings and in the Session Viewer.

* **macOS Hidden Client.** The new macOS Hidden Client type is now available (used instead of the standard macOS Client) to hide the Client from the user to a maximum extent in a **stealth mode**. The Client's process names look like regular system processes.

* **Licensing — Terminal Server (Limited Sessions) for Linux Clients.** The Terminal Server (Limited Sessions) license type is now also available for Linux Clients (in addition to Windows). Allows customers to only pay for the maximum number of concurrent sessions per Client they require, rather than an unlimited number with a Terminal Server license. See [Licensing overview](/docs/administration/licensing/overview).

### Improvements

* **macOS Clients — ScreenCaptureKit.** The deprecated `CGWindowListCreateImage` API on macOS 14 (Sonoma) has been replaced with the new `ScreenCaptureKit` API, which is used when recording screen captures.
* **Third-party products — ESET integration.** ESET security software is now supported for use with Syteca (including compatibility with ESET Secure Browser).
* **Syteca Encryption — PostgreSQL SSL.** Syteca can now be installed for connections between the Application Server and the PostgreSQL database (including when using Amazon Web Services RDS for PostgreSQL) to use SSL encryption. See [Encryption](/docs/administration/security/encryption).
* **Linux Clients** — various third-party libraries used by Linux Clients have been updated to fix identified vulnerabilities.

### Issues fixed

* **Linux Clients** — three issues fixed:
  * The SELinux Client did not record SSH sessions on AlmaLinux 9.4 with SELinux enabled in enforcing mode.
  * A Linux alert could not be triggered with a parameter containing an upper case letter.
  * Linux Client SSH connection delay occurred.
* **Tenant management** — a tenant could not be deleted. See [Manage tenants](/docs/administration/multi-tenant/manage-tenants).
* **Access management** — a "Wrong Request" error occurred when attempting to approve an Endpoint Access Control access request via an email link.
* **LDAP targets** — not all of the Active Directory user groups were synchronized when adding an LDAP target.
* **Keystroke logging** — keystrokes were not recorded if the Korean keyboard language was used.
