# Syteca 7.19

> Release notes for Syteca version 7.19 — new Access Request and Secondary User Authentication report types, Pseudonymizer Supervisor exclusion list, Forensic Export comments.

## 7.19.40 (Build 7.19.355)

### Issues fixed

* **Client configuration** — could not reconnect to the Client after closing the VMware Horizon window (blank screen displayed) without rebooting, when the **Displaying of an Additional Message on Login** option was enabled.

## 7.19.30 (Build 7.19.353)

### Improvements

* **Keystroke logging (Windows Clients)** — all keystrokes are now detected when input speed (typing) is very fast (with the US keyboard).

### Issues fixed

* **Alerts** — alert emailing failure error in certain cases while trying to receive alert notifications by email.
* **Reports** — there was not much space between the "User Name" and "Secondary Auth Login" columns to separate them visually in the Secondary User Authentication report type.
* **Password Management** — "Cannot get secrets that are accessible by the current user" error occurred when the user unlocked their computer while a secret was in use.
* **Alerts** — alerts were duplicated (in the Session Viewer, Alerts tab, Alert Grid report) when the "Show warning message to user" and "Kill application" options were enabled using the Korean keyboard with the English input toggle.

## 7.19.25 (Build 7.19.346)

### Improvements

* **Syteca logs** — detailed information has been added to the Application Server and Management Tool logs about certain errors (concerning logging in to the Management Tool, etc).

## 7.19.20 (Build 7.19.342)

### Improvements

* **Linux Clients — Wayland on Ubuntu 22.04+.** Wayland is now supported on Ubuntu 22.04+ (including 24.04) versions.
* **Client Sessions — performance.** Various Management Tool performance improvements on the Client Sessions tab (on the Activity Monitoring page):
  * The page now loads faster (e.g. with large numbers of sessions).
  * The page stopped loading after using the **Duration** filter — fixed.
* **Database structure optimized.** Data migration begins after the Application Server starts up. See [Update best practice](/docs/administration/deployment/update-syteca).

### Issues fixed

* **Endpoint Access Control** — access request emails were not sent when an Active Directory user group was set as a **User who can approve access**. See [Endpoint access control](/docs/administration/access/endpoint-access-control).
* **License management** — Workstation licenses could not be assigned to Windows365 computers after updating to Syteca 7.19.325.

## 7.19.15 (Build 7.19.337)

### Improvements

* **Client Sessions on Windows** — the Remote IPv4 address can now be detected when using the PCoIP connection protocol.

## 7.19.10 (Build 7.19.325)

### Improvements

* **Licensing — new SaaS Not-for-Resale serial key type.** The new "SaaS Not-for-Resale" serial key type is now available, which can be used for demonstration purposes only by Syteca partners for SaaS deployments. See [Licensing overview](/docs/administration/licensing/overview).

### Issues fixed

* **Windows Clients** — the `DisableHooksInjection` registry value was reset to the default (`0`) after updating the Windows Client to version 7.19.164 or restarting it.
* **Forensic Export** — the "System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException" error occurred while playing a recorded session using Syteca Forensic Player.
* **Configuration** — while saving the Timeout value on the System Settings tab, the user was logged out.
* **Windows Clients** — the `EkranClientSession` process was consuming 20-30% of the CPU in certain cases.

## 7.19 (Build 7.19.225)

### New features

* **Reports — two new report types.** The Access Request Grid report and Secondary User Authentication Grid report have been added.

### Improvements

* **Pseudonymizer — Users to Exclude list.** Any Management Tool users in the default "Supervisors" group can now add specific endpoint users to the new "Users to Exclude from Pseudonymization" list, so that all "Supervisors" can view the de-anonymized data of these endpoint users.
* **Forensic Export — Comment field.** A new "Comment" field has been added to the Session(s) Forensic Export pop-up window, used to help investigators see why a forensic export was required and who requested it (as displayed in the new "Comment" column on the Forensic Export History tab).
* **User Activity Recording (Windows Clients)** — the "Record user activity only on alert or USB monitoring rule triggering" parameter no longer records the start and end (the first 4 minutes and the last 4 minutes) of a session in all cases (even if no alert or USB monitoring rule was triggered in the session).
* **Linux Clients** — various third-party libraries used by Linux Clients have been updated to fix identified vulnerabilities.
* **Linux Client requirements** — compatibility to monitor various versions of Linux OS has been verified.

### Issues fixed

* **Windows Clients** — Windows Clients with an IPv6 address could not connect to the Application Server in certain cases.
* **Management Tool** — performance issues in certain cases while logging in to the Management Tool.
* **Updating the Application Server** — "The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication" error occurred when using a Windows account with Kerberos authentication to connect to the MS SQL database during an Application Server update.
* **Using secrets** — credentials were not auto-filled in the corresponding fields after connecting using a Web account secret. See [Use secrets](/docs/pam/secrets/use-secrets).
* **Windows Clients** — all user activity was recorded despite the "Record user activity only on alert or USB monitoring rule triggering" option being enabled.
* **Activity monitoring** — the wrong username was displayed in some cases when monitoring AWS AppStream.
* **Windows Clients** — the Windows Client failed to detect the Remote IP address / hostname in certain cases when using TightVNC.
* **Forensic Export** — the Management Tool user was logged out with the "You don't have permission to access Syteca Management Tool..." error while performing a Forensic Export.

### SaaS-specific issues fixed

* **System errors and warnings** — "Unable to detect the storage space" email notifications were erroneously received in SaaS.
* **SaaS Windows Clients** — performance issues occurred on Windows 11 endpoints with the SaaS Windows Client installed.
