The Policy Details page provides detailed information about a selected policy, including the risk factors it contains, the endpoints to which it is assigned, and the endpoint groups through which it is deployed. Basic policy information, including the policy name, description, its current state, and controls, is displayed on the Policies page. For more information about these sections, see Policies page . The page contains the following tabs:
  • Risk Factors : Displays the risk factors included in the policy and their current impact across managed endpoints.
  • Endpoints: Displays endpoints to which the policy is assigned, either directly or through endpoint groups.
  • Endpoint Groups: Displays endpoint groups associated with the policy and provides visibility into policy coverage across the environment.

Risk Factors

The Risk Factors tab displays all risk factors included in the selected policy. Use this tab to review the risk factors evaluated by the policy, their severity, associated controls, and their impact across managed endpoints. You can use filters to find the required risk factors. The filters include:
  • Risk Factor
  • Active status (select only risk factoirs currently active on at least one endpoint)
  • Enabled status
  • Severity (Critical, High, Medium, or Low)
  • Control
  • Endpoints Count (select risk factors affecting more than or fewer than a specified number of endpoints)

Endpoints

The Endpoints tab displays endpoints that can be associated with the selected policy. Use this tab to review current policy assignments and identify endpoints that are available for policy deployment. Endpoints are organized into two lists:
  • Assigned Endpoints: Endpoints to which the policy is currently assigned, either directly or through endpoint group assignment.
  • Available Endpoints: Endpoints to which the policy is not currently assigned but can be assigned.
To find an endpoint, enter all or part of its name in the search box above the lists. The search is applied to both lists simultaneously. To assign or unassign a policy, move endpoints between the lists. For detailed instructions, see Managing policies.

Endpoint Groups

The Endpoint Groups tab displays endpoint groups that can be associated with the selected policy. Use this tab to review the policy deployment scope and manage policy assignments for multiple endpoints at once. Endpoint groups are organized into two lists:
  • Assigned Endpoint Groups: Endpoint groups to which the policy is currently assigned.
  • Available Endpoint Groups: Endpoint groups to which the policy is not currently assigned but can be assigned.
To find an endpoint group, enter all or part of its name in the search box above the lists. The search is applied to both lists simultaneously. To assign or unassign a policy, move endpoint groups between the lists. For detailed instructions, see Managing policies.

About policies

Explore security and compliance policies, understand how risk factors, controls, and severity ratings contribute to policy health scores.

About risk factors and probes

Understand how risk factors and probes are evaluated on endpoints.

Managing policies

Assign and unassign policies for endpoints and endpoint groups to control which risk factors are evaluated during endpoint health assessments.

How to assess and improve policy compliance

Review policy compliance across your environment, identify non-compliant endpoints and risk factors.
